As emphasized by Abercade experts, the period of 2005-2013 is characterized by a sustainable growth of the market of preventive vaccines protecting against infections caused by Haemophilus influenzae Type B. This growth was facilitated by a number of factors:
• In 2007 – 2008, Rospotrebnadzor in cooperation with the Vishnevskaya and Rostropovich Foundation conducted an evaluation of economic effects of immunization against Haemophilus influenzae infections and within this survey supplied vaccines to the Murmansk, Tula and the Moscow Regions; the total amount of delivered products was about 180 thousand doses.
• In 2008, immunization against Haemophilus infection was added to the regional immunization schedule in the Sverdlov Region, in 2009 – in the Moscow City and the Moscow Region, 2010 – in the Tyumen Region and in 2011 – in the Krasnoyarsk Krai.
• In 2011 vaccines against Haemophilus infection were included in the National Immunization Schedule.
